an older book and phenom from a few years back, but i am just reading it now. it is very enjoyable, peter mayle has a nice light style and is pretty clever. lovely "summer" read, but all the descriptions of meals in it make me terribly hungry Wink fun,quick read if you would like something light and pleasant
